Welcome to Peak Health Center

  • Do you accept insurance?

We see patients who have a wide array of insurances and our team will work with you to determine the most affordable option for the care you need. In the instance that your insurance company considers your needs as “above the standard of care,” we will work with you to create a cost effective plan to fit your needs. In many cases, functional medicine services and testing will not fall under insurance coverage. We do everything we can to make sure Functional Medicine and Chiropractic Care is affordable and available to everyone!

  • Do you work with patients outside of the North Carolina area?

Yes, we offer long-distance functional medicine consultations (national and international) via telephone or webcam (Zoom) for those who live outside of our area. We’ve worked with clients all over North America.

  • How much will a functional medicine program cost?

We strive to create a comprehensive and affordable Functional Medicine program that is not only for the wealthy. Many of our patients are working class people who have discovered that the investment in a functional medicine program not only adds quality of life but saves exponentially on future health care costs. Patients can expect to invest anywhere from $2,000-$10,000 depending on complexity of health challenge. For a detailed breakdown of pricing please visit the “Pricing” Section.

  • Can I see a chiropractor if I am pregnant?

Yes! Many pregnant women find that chiropractic adjustments improve the pregnancy experience and make delivery easier. Adjustments are adapted to accommodate the stage of pregnancy and the unique needs of each patient. Please visit the Pregnancy, Babies, & Children section under The Peak Method in the Chiropractic section of this website.

  • Are adjustments safe?

Chiropractic care is widely recognized as one of the safest, drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment for the whole family regardless of age. Spinal adjustments are extremely safe when performed by a licensed chiropractor.

  • What is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic is a health-care profession that focuses on the spine and other joints of the body, and their connection to the nervous system. A trained, licensed Chiropractor will identify areas of hypomobility, misalignment or loss of function and correct with the most appropriate technique for each patient. Please visit the “What is Chiropractic” section of this website.

  • What is functional Medicine?

Functional medicine seeks to identify and address the root causes of disease and views the body as one integrated system rather than a collection of independent organs divided up by medical specialties. It treats the whole system, not just the symptoms. Our doctors strive to stay on the cutting edge of functional medicine research and testing to bring you the best in hope and healing. This unique service is often the missing link for many of our patients and is recommended as part of any wellness lifestyle.

  • Chiropractic Examination Cancellations

In the instance that you are unable to make it to your scheduled appointment, we require 48 hours notice. If you must cancel your appointment outside of that window, we charge a $50 fee. Active patients can easily manage their appointments using the scheduling app to avoid any scheduling conflicts.
